These terms of service are the agreement between you and the person who runs AI Diss Track (aidisstrack.app). The site is run by an independent developer, not a company. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
What the service is
AI Diss Track is a web tool that makes AI-generated parody and roast songs for entertainment. You type a first name or nickname, who they are to you, a few running jokes, a heat level, a beat and a rapper's voice. An AI model writes lyrics from those details and you can edit every line; another AI model raps a 30-second preview; and if you pay, it raps the full track, about two minutes long, in two versions you can download as MP3 files and share through a private link.
Tracks are made with AI
Lyrics are written by Google's Gemini model and the beat and the rapping are generated by Google DeepMind's Lyria model, both on Google Cloud (Vertex AI). Every track carries Google's SynthID watermark, which can't be heard but identifies the audio as AI-generated. The rapper is an AI voice: we don't imitate real artists, and we don't use existing songs, beats or lyrics. AI can get things wrong, so read the lyrics before you share a track.
Friendly roasts only
A diss track here is a joke between people who know each other, the kind the person in it would laugh at too. The site is for adults, 18 or older, roasting other adults. Before and after the lyrics are written, what you type is checked against these rules, and the AI won't write:
- anything about race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, disability or nationality;
- jokes about someone's body, weight, looks or health;
- sexual content, threats, violence or anything about self-harm;
- tracks about celebrities, politicians, athletes, streamers or other public figures;
- tracks about anyone under 18;
- factual accusations, such as crimes, cheating or illness, that could be false and hurtful;
- private details: only a first name or nickname is allowed, never a last name, address, school, workplace, phone number or handle.
When a request breaks these rules we say so and don't make it. You must not try to get around the checks, for example by spelling words differently or hiding instructions in the form.
Acceptable use
Use the site to roast people you know, for fun. You must not use a track to harass, bully, threaten or humiliate anyone, to impersonate someone, or to pass it off as the work of a real artist. You must not post a track somewhere its subject would be harmed by it, such as their workplace or their family, without their agreement. You must not get around the free limits, send automated traffic or resell tracks.
You must not use the site to make or share content that infringes anyone else's intellectual property, such as their songs, lyrics or beats, or that uses a real artist's name, voice or likeness to pass a track off as theirs. If you do, we take the content down, may block your access to the site, and handle any payment under our refund policy.
Reporting a track
Every share page has a Report this track button. If you're the person in a track and want it gone, or a track breaks these rules, press it: the track comes down right away while we take a look. You can also email hello@aidisstrack.app with "Report" in the subject and the share link. You don't need to have bought anything to report a track.
What happens after you report:
- The share page and the audio stop working at once.
- We confirm we've received an emailed report within 2 business days and decide within 5 business days.
- A track that breaks these rules stays down and is deleted, and we may block the code, device or network that made it.
- A track the person in it asked to remove stays down, even if it didn't break a rule.
- If something is illegal, we may report it to the authorities.
How you may use your track
Once you've paid for a track, you may use it for personal fun: play it at a party, send it to the group chat, put it in your own videos and post it on social media, as long as it stays within these rules. When you post it, please say it was made with AI. Commercial uses, such as selling the track or using it in advertising, aren't included.
Google doesn't claim ownership of what its generative AI services create (Section 20 of the Google Cloud Service Specific Terms), and we give you whatever rights we have in your track for these personal uses.
Prices and payment
- Lyrics and previews are free within the daily limits: up to 8 sets of lyrics and one 30-second preview a day on each device, with no account.
- A full track costs $4.99 and five tracks cost $12.99. Each is a one-time payment; there is no subscription.
- The price is the one on the pricing page when you buy. A price change never affects tracks you've already paid for.
- Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Waffo Pancake (waffo.ai), which sells you the track pack, takes the payment, handles sales tax or VAT and issues receipts.
Refunds
A track that has been delivered isn't refundable, except where the law requires otherwise. A track that fails on our side, or that the music model refuses even after we reword it, isn't counted against your code. If every version you got says the name wrong or has an obvious problem, write to us within 14 days. The full rules are in our refund policy.
Your tracks and share pages
We keep a full track (its title, the first name or nickname, the beat, the lyrics and the audio) for up to 400 days so your download and share page keep working. Anyone with the share link can listen, so only share it with people you trust; share pages are hidden from search engines. Email us to delete a track sooner.
No warranty and limits on liability
The site is provided as it is and as available. As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will always be available, free of errors or fit for a particular purpose, or that every track will be what you hoped for. We are not liable for indirect losses or for how a track is received. Our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before your claim, or USD 10 if you haven't paid anything. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer where you live.
If you break these terms
There are no user accounts on this site. If you break these terms, we may block your device or network from making tracks, refuse further purchases and cancel a code that was used to break them. A code cancelled for breaking these terms isn't refunded, except where the law requires otherwise.
Changes to these terms and questions
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and a change never takes away tracks you've already paid for. Questions: hello@aidisstrack.app. See also our privacy policy, pricing and refund policy.
